Di Niro and Alessandro Gavello. Corinna and Alessandro
play 3 characters each including Servants, Lovers and Masters.
This
performance provides teachers with an ideal opportunity to expose their 
students to a completely interactive
style of Commedia dell'Arte. See how Commedia dell'Arte can be transported into modern times without
loosing its history as these 6 age-old characters create for you an experience
you'll never forget! Delivered in bi-lingual style, this show serves as
either an Introduction or to compliment an existing program of study.
What sets
Access All Comedy apart from the rest is that the show includes plenty of audience participation,
both on stage and in the auditorium and the characters improvise a majority of
the text with the audience, thus adding much hilarity to the performance. Plenty of quick-fire verbal exchanges in two languages and a
fast-paced show that blends classic story lines with modern themes that every
audience member can relate to.

For Teachers
This Is
Commedia dell’Arte! Lv 1 – Introduction to the
Commedia dell’Arte form. History,
characters, simple gestures and status system. Includes
some useful and practical ideas. Length = 3hrs
This Is Commedia
dell’Arte! Lv 2 –A deep study of this ancient
craft. History, characters, the status system, gestures and postures,
breakdown and improvisation of a canovaccio and
notes. Length = 6hrs
** Access All Comedy is available to schools that are in the process
of building a Commedia dell’Arte show who are looking
for some support and ideas on character development, comic routines and
direction. **
For Students
Finding your feet – An introduction to
the physical aspects of Commedia dell’Arte. Walks,
gestures and postures. (suits year 4-13)
Commedia dell’Arte
Revealed – A deeper study of the characters & interactions. Adding on from
‘Finding your feet’, explores the history, comic duo’s, the status system and
possibly even some stage acrobatics and stage fighting. (suits
year 8-13)
The Access All Comedy
workshops are designed to help participants develop new ideas and to explore
new character possibilities; subsequently evolving the participant’s acting
technique. All workshops can be
tailored to suit specific requests.
